Carlo Cecere (1706–1761) never left Naples, composed chiefly opere buffe, and distinguished himself as a performer (not a harpsichordist but a violinist). The composer of a good many concertos, including a fair number for one or two flutes, Cecere possessed an instrumental style characterized by great melodic facility and supported by marked compliance in formal terms with the most successful contemporary models.

Carlo Cecere (1706–1761) ne quitta jamais Naples; il composa surtout des opere buffe et se distingua comme instrumentiste (non pas au clavecin mais au violon). Auteur de très nombreux concertos, dont plusieurs pour une ou deux flûtes, Cecere possédait un style instrumental caractérisé par une grande aisance mélodique, étayée d’une forte adhésion formelle aux modèles contemporains les plus couronnés de succès.

Ebenso wie Palella verließ auch Carlo Cecere (1706–1761) Neapel nie, komponierte hauptsächlich opere buffe und zeichnete sich als Ausführender (allerdings nicht als Cembalist, sondern als Geiger) aus. Als Komponist einer ganzen Reihe von Konzerten, darunter eine beträchtliche Anzahl für eine und zwei Flöten, pflegte Cecere einen Instrumentalstil, der eine besondere melodische Fertigkeit und eine deutliche formale Übereinstimmung mit den erfolgreichsten zeitgenössischen Vorbildern aufwies.

Anche Carlo Cecere (1706–1761) non si mosse mai dalla città di Napoli, fu autore principalmente di opere buffe, e seppe distinguersi come esecutore (non cembalista, ma violinista). Autore di un discreto numero di concerti, di cui un buon numero per uno o due flauti, Cecere possiede una scrittura strumentale caratterizzata da una estrema facilità melodica, supportata da un atteggiamento di forte adesione formale ai modelli contemporanei di maggior successo.
