Stephen Adams is a composer, improvising musician, and voice and sound artist. His work Afterwards (2014) for choir, radios and percussion soloist Claire Edwardes was a finalist in the 2015 Australian Art Music Awards. Recent projects include site-specific scores for Easter at The Piano Mill 2018 and 2019, studio and performed collaborations with writers for the 2019 Sydney and Newcastle Writers Festivals and Little Fictions Dismorphia: Tell-tale Bodies, and improvised performances including a featured appearance at The Guesthouse, Cork, Ireland (October 2018) with sound artist Karen Power. Stephen is also an ABC producer specialising in contemporary classical and experimental music.
