The choir also tours regularly, most notably for a concert tour of Tuscany in 2012, and a presentation of two concerts at the Sacred Music Week festival in Cuenca, Spain, in April 2014, alongside Barry Douglas and Camerata. Codetta was delighted to be awarded first prize and the Fleischmann International Trophy at the Cork International Choral Festival in May 2017, and has been the host choir for the City of Derry International Choir Festival since its inception in 2013.
Recent projects have included recording Neil Martin’s soundtrack to the film ‘Lost Lives’, and the first European performance of Anything can happen, composed by Mohammed Fairouz with texts by Seamus Heaney.
