As a composer he has written more than 100 commissioned works for ensembles ranging from The King’s Singers to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Clausen is also a frequent guest conductor, having conducted such works as Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Brahms’ Requiem and several of his own works including performances at Carnegie Hall in New York.
