Julian Stocker graduated from York University where he gained a BA Hons degree in Music. He is much in demand as an oratorio soloist (including Monteverdi, Handel, Britten and Arvo Pärt), and in particular as Evangelist in Bach’s Passions. He has sung operatic roles (Holland Park Opera, Windsor Castle) and has given song recitals in the United Kingdom. He has performed and recorded with some of the U.K.’s most distinguished groups, including The Cardinall’s Musick, BBC Singers, The Tallis Scholars, The Sixteen, The Geoffrey Mitchell Choir, Opus Anglicanum and European Voices under Sir Simon Rattle. He is a full time member of the Choir of Westminster Abbey. This is his first collaboration with Coro Cervantes.
