The list of distinguished artists he has partnered has been likened to a Who’s Who in music, and his extensive discography has been marked by a long and fruitful association with Hyperion Records: highlights include The Sea with Sarah Walker and Sir Thomas Allen, Britten’s Five Canticles with Anthony Rolfe Johnson and Michael Chance, a Gramophone Award-winning recording of Beethoven with Stephan Genz, Wolf’s complete Mörike Lieder with Stephan Genz and Joan Rodgers, Russian Songs with Joan Rodgers, Soul and Landscape with Miah Persson, Canciones amatorias with Bernarda Fink, and Britten, Finzi and Tippett with Mark Padmore.
